Service
When purchasing a pre-owned vehicle, regular servicing is of the utmost importance and having your cooling system serviced is vital to protecting the heart of your vehicle “the engine”. Fortunately, you have the service team at D.E.L. Motors for all your cooling system services and repairs. Your engine can produce enough heat to destroy itself every time you drive. The average operating temperature can run anywhere between 195 to 220 degrees Fahrenheit. The cooling system is designed to keep those temperatures in check and regular inspection and maintenance will help keep your car/truck or SUV running for many years to come. When your cooling system needs attention, our team of certified mechanics is available to make sure your system is doing its job properly.
When you bring your vehicle to us, you can be sure that every aspect of your cooling system is being inspected and all issues are being addressed. Our service team will perform a detailed diagnostic of all parts and components in the system. We take no short-cuts when servicing your vehicle:
Here are some warning signs you can look for that might help you decide if your coolant system needs to be serviced.
Your cooling system should be flushed at regular intervals. The owner’s manual should give a timeline for service. If you are experiencing any of the warning signs listed above, you should have the system checked by our mechanics right away. The engine coolant does not have an expiration date but over time it does lose some of its effectiveness. Most owners’ manuals recommend flushing the system every 30,000 – 40,000 miles or every three to five years whichever comes first.
Engine coolant is often referred to as antifreeze by mistake. Antifreeze is a chemical (Ethylene Glycol) while coolant is a combination of antifreeze and water. Schedule an appointment with D.E.L. Motors if your cooling system needs to be serviced. Let us help you and your engine stay cool with regular service.
